Spirit Humanity Earth Closing Event

October 6 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Starting at 3pm

Singing and Drumming with Kelly Laurila

Kelly Laurila, an Indigenous Sami woman, song carrier, helper and educator, invites you to join her in song. With a little bit of teaching and a little bit of learning about Indigenous songs, everyone will have opportunity to be in circle to sing and drum.

The Indigenous words, ‘All my relations,’ are significant to Kelly and guide her life and work with Truth & Reconciliation and balanced relationships with all beings (e.g., humans, animals, birds, trees, plants, insects, water, land etc.). Many of the Indigenous songs speak to how to live one’s life with an ‘all our relations’ understanding. Come learn how!”

Closing Remarks by Suellen Evoy -Oozeer

Creator of the S.H.E. is Healing Spirit Portraits.

Drumming with Mary Sue Robinet

Elder Mary Sue Robinet is a professional First Nation advocate & worker in a hospital in Oshawa, a respected Elder who performs many ceremonies and Suellen’s dear friend.

This is a free event – All are welcome
