Jasmin-Nicole Solo exhibition

Jasmin-Nicole (she/her) is a Ghanaian-Canadian visual artist and community arts facilitator. Celebrating Black Cultures Through Art is Jasmin-Nicole’s solo exhibition that focuses on contemporary imagery that represents the multifaceted experiences of Black womanhood and the vibrancy of West African culture. She explores themes such as nature, spirituality and community in her work, creating large-scale portraits and abstract dreamscapes.

Jasmin-Nicole graduated from OCAD University (2021) with a BFA in Drawing and Painting. Her artwork. Her artwork has been exhibited in various galleries including Cache Studio and Art Gallery in collaboration with Tap Art Space (Montreal, Quebec), OCAD University’s 106th GRADEX (Toronto, Ontario), and Parkdale Art Window Project at the Toronto Public Library and Gallery 1313 (Toronto, Ontario).
